Missions Trip

We are partnering with our local home church of Warm Beach Free Methodist Church in Stanwood, Washington to send a team to Jeremie in the Spring of 2027.  The focus of this trip is on building infrastructure.  It will also be a learning exercise on what it means to send a team from the United States and how it can truly have an impact on the people of Jeremie and the mission of La Kay Kafe.  Our hope is that this trip is the first of many more to follow.

Specifically for the 2027 trip the projects to be started are:

• Build benches for the church program

• Build a block wall around the Juene’s house

• Repair and stabilize the solar-electric system for the Kafe

• Roofing for families in our school program
